Apart from the patronising / facebook tone of the above
(not having a go at you, it’s just a bit sensationalist and condescending, I take your point completely),

I don’t believe that’s what he is doing. I lean more to the idea that he’s a narcissistic fuckwit who can’t help but tank everything because he needs to be seen as being a hero but hasn’t got the sense God gave a mule.

Agree thats what he is but again, there's still nothing he's done or proposing to do that doesn't help Putin...

I know it's been said many times but what a shameful c/nut he is talking about "dividing up assets" in Ukraine and no mention of the people and their suffering. Maybe a rogue Ukrainian can take aim.
It’s absolutely revolting rhetoric and as far as I am concerned this is blatant and unashamed proof that Putin and Trump are allies and working together.

Having said that, it’s completely irrelevant. Nobody is going to go for their “deal” and nobody will. Trump is obsolete and Putin is never going to be able to dictate the terms of a ceasefire.

They’ll come up with a deal that can’t be agreed to by any sane country. Then Trump will declare that Zelenskyy is a dictator and doesn’t want peace and cease all U.S. assistance in the hopes that Putin will win and Trump and him can divide up the assets between them.

In my opinion, if Trump could get away with providing troops and arms to Russia, he would.

Scum.

so we're saying he's a master strategist, planning ahead 3 or 4 moves, anticipating and countering his opponents over months even years?

not someone who changes mind on a whim, bankrupted most companies he ran (including a casino), and thought Covid could be cured by shining light inside the body.

on radio this morning they suggested he's refering to the operational processes of how some things are run in affected areas. or put another way, he misunderstood something, talked out of his arse to the press, and now we can get very annoyed and upset about that. Ukraine are signed up to an unconditional ceasefire (not a peace deal) and yet keep seeing stories making out like it's a bad idea, sowing division and confusion. i wonder who might benefit from that?

It can be both things. There’s no doubt Trump is an idiot. But he’s surrounded himself with, and listens to, people that have more extreme views than he does.

This was the commentary way before the election - with Project 2025, he was coming back with a plan and a stronger team. There’s less opposition than before in all areas of government.

This is why we’re seeing what we’re seeing.
