Anyone on here been? How did you find it and would you recommend it? What is worth seeing/doing there?

Thinking of going in September for 2 weeks, to the eastern side of the island.

Been mate. We went to sasoua (spl) in 2002 i think. All inclusive, it was good I recomend it.

I went to Punta Cana last November and stayed at the Punta Cana Excellence, f***ing fantastic if you want a quiet holiday with no kids as its adults only. I love the Dom Rep and would reccomend it to anyone. I also love their beer Presidente !

Indeed it is although the chances of getting caught in one are very remote.

All tourist areas in the D.R. have hurricane shelters.
