Very clever ......... Trevor .

Eff me "she" is back.

Definitely well timed. The signing of the one Liverpool player to barely score at all, on loan, is definitely worth more bantz pointz than, say, winning 3-1 with 10 men......

This is perfectly sound logic, however it doesn't take into account my biggest fear of signing him and that is the detriment to our u-23 strikers that may cause. I doubt he's good enough to replace Murray, and the last thing we need to do is spend 10 million quid on an okay striker when we have two (connolly and gyokeres) very talented u-23 players who may be in the first team soon.

I agree it would be sending a terrible message to the u23 team who have played very well this season. It would also not fit for Solanke who needs guaranteed first team football and he wouldn't get it here. I guess they are going to link us with nonsensical transfers/loans involving England u21's just because we now have Dan Ashworth.

pikey is as racist as ****** or paki.

No. No it isnt. The reason is this: ****** is a derivation of "negre" or "negroe" both meaning black. "Paki" is a shortened verb for "Pakistani" which names a citizen of Pakistan and is a pejorative term used as abuse...although, in Pakistan, is as common as "Brit"' is in the rest of the world to describe a British citizen.

Pikey is believed to stem from the period after the English civil war when unemployed pikemen were prone to robbery rather than starving or , alternatively, from "turnpikeys" i.e highwaymen who lurked at crossroads or "turnpikes".

The difference being that two abusive terms describe a situation of birth and the other a situation of choice. Pikey is NOT a race. Hence it cannot be racist to use the term. Unless...you are a dolt.
