Doing some site hacking at 10:00

A new security vulnerability on vBulletin has just been announced.

The quickest way to remedy it is for me to manually edit (hack) a number of source files. I'll start doing that at 10am.

If the site dies then it's not my fault.

That day I couldn't access NSC till you did something but since that day it takes ages to load NSC and any open any new tabs. Work's fine at home, my work PC uses IE11 (not my choice) with Sophos, is there anything I/you can do to speed it up?

I didn't do anything to un-Sophos it - my suspicion is there was a rogue advert in the Adsense network that triggered the Sophos alarm bells. It went away by itself.

The site is zippy for me - Mac/Mavericks/Safari.
