I have children, I am an occasional bike rider on that undercliff, I am dog owner and also a car driver, so at anyone time someone hates me !!

Since when has it become unacceptable for a dog to be running freely where your children are, god forbid even barking at them, after all they aren't likely to be sizing up your children for an attack are they

Why dont you guide your children to accept that dogs will be in most public places and although whilst being reasonably wary of many things, no need to be scared of anything.

I ride park some parents and shuffle there children to the side, with any such angst of a bicycle riding past their children, you wouldnt believe, silly really.

Your children didnt get bitten, were never likely to, so welcome to the world of, er well the world.

Charming. I hope your dog does not share its master's personality.
