In the days before dog's chocolate logs were religiously scooped up by their owners and sold to Quorn to make burgers what happened to the little black, brown and occasionally white logs? They didn't just get up and walk away from pavements and footpaths of their own accord after nightfall did they and they weren't all squashed onto the bottom of shoes to be taken home and rinsed off? Were there special council poop scoop squads at large?
