Dear all, me and Mrs.Punal, and our boxer Maisie (above) are heading east to get some clobber from the club shop at the Amex. We are then heading for Hove for some pub grub and to take Maisie on the beach. Any recommendations for a decent dog friendly pub would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, woof, woof!

Aren't most pubs dog-friendly? We've not had problems taking ours anywhere.

BTW, the Amex shop is dog-friendly too. I took mine in with me when I was queuing up for tickets once and there was no problem

Mondelo Lounge on Church road is decent. Nice menu and you’ll find some dog treats and a water bowl for Maisie by the door.

Dogs seem to be allowed everywhere these days, here is a restaurant hierarchy;

1) Children
2) Vegans
3) Dogs
4) People with allergens - real or imagined

7th circle of hell) People who actually pay for stuff

Ooooh, where's this restaurant where vegans don't pay and children go free? It will save me a fortune

Brighton Beach Club allows dogs on the ground floor if you want something more restauranty.

Thanks everyone for your recommendations. We were not allowed to take Maisie into the club shop - guide dogs only I’m afraid. She did have her photo taken outside next to the Snowdog in front of the shop. Got the new home shirt for my grandson and I must admit it looks great - one happy chappie will soon be wearing it! :thumbsup:
