Get Rid! If she can't handle it now, imagine what she will be like in 10 years time when your married.

She doesn't have to like football but does have to accept that you do and you will be there every week

Having an argument with this girl I'm see'ing that the Albion came first between us and she wasn't too happy.

There are ways of phrasing these things. I have not missed a game since this time last year and had a pretty steady girlfriend who understands what the Albion mean to me.

That being said it is give and take, treat your lady to surprise romantic nights out, dedicate Sundays to her, if Saturdays are for the Albion. Do not tell her that Brighton are more important but that Saturday afternoons are non negotiable me times (in the nicest possible way).

6 months ago, I'd have said "yes", now I'll say "no."

But, you're 14/15(not trying to be-little you in anyway), so in your case, go to the football.

Yeah I'm 15 but when i told her that I'm definetely at football every fortnight and i do my fair share of away games , she wasn't happy. Don't know if i should end it now or just deal with it?

Leave it be for a while and see how it goes? See you can always suggest that she sees her friends on Saturday daytime and spends the evening with you

Mate, when i was your age, i went to every game home and away, and had some f***ing brilliant times. As soon as you get older and start thinking about getting in serious relationships, women try to dictate you, and it gets harder to do. Make the most of it while you can. Not as if you're going to be with this bird forever is it!

Dude, listen to what I said. You can have your cake and eat it you just need to make her feel special on the six days of the week when the Albion are not playing.

I see what most of you are saying but all I get back is, why do you want to watch Brighton anyway they're shit. Now that pissed me off. How much of Brighton and Hove actually like the seagulls then? Because alot of people i speak to just say were shit.

OK, get rid then. How would she react if you mocked her interests in such a way? I think we all know the answer to that.

I got the time-old classic "it's only football" after being slightly pissed off after the Sheff Weds game
They don't understand how much blokes love the game, but it's not their fault. You just have to overlook it.

Marc, she can handle not seeing you once/twice a week can't she ? She still has what 4/5 days to spend with you.
