[Albion] Does Potter really believe the team doesn’t need strengthening?

See? I didn’t get upset about my post being bounced [emoji106]

Like I said in a earlier post I have enjoyed a lot of your posts the last few weeks and have even liked a few.

Most of us on here are Albion fans and the great thing about this forum is having different views just think like many others have said

1) Your calling out of Guinness Boy is unwise as he is a mod and a good guy .Why not speak to him via PM

2) Your winding up of people the last few days is a shame as like I said for last weeks you have posted good to read stuff

3) If I was you I would be the Vagabond of the last few weeks and not be the one of the last few days on a mission to get on peoples tits

Up to you mate but I think if there was a poll of the biggest cock of the board and we took Junior out of the poll your name would be near the top

Anyway lets hope we beat the Arse and Palace lose then we can all have a love in after the match

Potter will always say that he is happy with the squad adding the caveat that however, the recruitment team are constantly looking at ways to improve the ‘group’.

This statement, repeated over and over again, is essentially saying that he is happy with the senior management and recruitment strategy at the club. With the best Chairman & CEO in English football, you’d be disappointed if he wasn’t towing the line.

We all know that behind closed doors, the problem of sorting our finishing out will be the clubs priority over the summer. Potter’s not going to mention that in a press conference.

Given that Arsenal are on a good run and we are without both of our first choice strikers there's a fair chance we will lose this weekend, meaning that we'll finish with an identical win/draw/loss record to last season.

If that happens I suspect Potter will regard that as a personal failure because he had a stronger squad this season but was let down badly by his forwards. Surely he will push for changes in personnel in that area? He has taken tough decisions with Ryan and in dropping Maupay but this is his real test - in moving on players he has coached for 2 years.

I dont think one single result is going to change how Potter perceives this season. Win lose or draw, I think his summary from last week will remain true to him - happy with the performances, happy to stay up, disappointed with the point tally and aware its something they will have to work on.

Agree it’s a tough game Sunday. Even though we’re in good form, Arsenal are playing even better plus have a shot of getting into Europe if results go their way.

So I would definitely have them as pretty strong favourites.

Reasons to be optimistic: our record against them is very good, we play our best and most effective football away from home, and we love to face against teams that actually like to play. We will have space and no low block to worry about on Sunday.

And hopefully we can all enjoy a bit of AFTV in the evening.
