[Albion] Does Minteh not have a right foot?

Watching the highlights from last night, I couldn't help but put notice that Minteh doesn't seem to have a right foot. His square pass for Georginio's goal was nearly blocked as a result of him trying to pass with his left foot from the right. His failed attempt on goal was a left foot shot through Ramsdale, rather than a right foot shot to Ramsdale's left.

I looked back over the highlights and a few other clips. While I am sure to be shot down in my opinion, he does need to use his right foot on occasion.

I noticed this as well. As the poster above says one footed players are not new but it did seem really pronounced yesterday and he would have had a far better chance of scoring had he taken that shot you mention with his right.

Albion only had a £30m budget. I understand that the price of the right foot took us over.

Brilliant right footed cross.

But he obviously has to improve his weak foot further as it’s still a weakness.

Two foots, one foot... even if he was Oscar Pistorious it doesn't matter all that much as long as he's fecking brilliant :shug:

Minteh is brilliant.

But having two feet which you're confident to use, give you a lot more options on the ball.

I'd like to think that one footed players like Minteh are working tirelessly to improve the weaker foot. But I'm doubtful

Having done everything right, he obviously felt he had all the time in the world yesterday.,
He didn't., and it's very rare that anyone does, in the Prem.

He's very young, he'll learn from that and improve.

I once saw Messi play live, and couldn't believe how left-footed he was. Still, if you have a left foot that good, why not use it as much as possible
Quite. And I can't help notice that it's only ever left-footed players that are accused of being one-footed. It's got diddly squat to do with the fact that 5/6 are right-footed. It just couldn't be.

He is as good with his right foot as Maradona.

I saw it reported a few years ago that, based on "statistical analysis", top left-footed players are more one-footed than top right footed players. Quoted examples included Puskas, Rivellino, Maradona and Messi.
There are exceptions though; according to brother Jack, Bobby Charlton was left-footed.
