We have solar panels and a house battery which see us through any power cuts.
But we’ve been having electrical work done in the kitchen which has meant turning that circuit off - the same circuit as our office, where the modem and router are.
A full UPS system would be OTT, but I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a cheap plug-in battery backup that would just power our internet for up to an hour or so? We had a BT one when our broadband was first installed, but the battery died long ago.
At the moment I can’t even turn off the smart light in our living room.
