Do some fans still go down to the Amex pre-match? watch the away team coach arrive, and/or gather outside the west stand?

Just asking for a friend of course!

My guess is though that the area around the stadium is a no go area before, during, and after a game.

There's a small contingent of Leeds fans with a "Free Ben White" banner camping out there. Well, when I say banner, it's a soggy piece of crayoned cereal packet. Oh and when I say contingent, it's just Killer Whale.

If anyone puts their hand up to this, I might be a tad concerned.

Bound to be a very strange select band of bennies that do this. Probably attired pretty much like the solitary sadsacks that hang around at the extreme end of Clapham Junction platforms clutching a well-thumbed notebook and a thermos of mum's soup

Very true, but we need to be careful of being accused of bennyphobia.

Are people like Barber allowed ? Directors ? surely Tony can go ?

Yes they are, but a limit is set including players, back room staff, etc.
Dunk was there last night, I got his autograph as he was going in (I mean, a friend did)

Last time I was near the Amex a lot of the area around it was cordoned off. The top of the ramp from the station (near where the bandstand was) had barriers across it to stop people passing through. The land outside is all private property and seems they didn't want anyone on it. This was a couple of months ago so might have changed now. If it is still the same it does mean it is unlikely anyone is hanging around outside unless they are up at the gates at the top of Bennett's Field to watch the players arrive.
