Does anyone know how I can contact any of the 1983 Cup finial team?

Give us a hand guys,

I have just purchased a rather big origional 'Seagulls in the FA Cup Finial' suplement from 1983...Its in mint condition and I was hoping to see if I could track down any of the '83 staff/team so I could get them to sign it and then give it to the chairty raffle. Hopefully it should fetch a few quid for the rocking horse appeal, but Im sure the price would rise if I could get any of the origional team to sign it.

So, does anyone know how I can contact any of the 1983 Cup finial team?

Thanks,

Biccy.

Gary Stevens is on TalkSport some evenings.

Oh, and Tony Grealish is the manager at Bolloms in Huntingdon.

I would imagine asking someone at the club. Surely they must have contact details etc for when they get old players back to walk on the pitch at half time.

Good luck Biscuit. It is nice of you to offer to get it signed even though you stole it from me.

I guess a list of the players who played in it would be a good start.

Okay, found Stevens on the talksport website. They even asked him the question 'WHAT’S YOUR FAVOURITE TIPPLE?' Which has got to be a good omen. I'll try sending him an email. Cheers David.

Speak to the officials at Swindon Town, Maybe if you explain the worthwhile cause, they could get a message across to Grant Smith to get his ol man to contact you:D :D :D :D

Gary Howlett runs a pet shop in Clywd, and specialises in supplying novelty pet accessories. He actually invented and patented those extendable dog leashes that roll up in the handle.

Gordon Smith is a pundit on BBC Scotland and could be contacted through them easily enough. He wouldn't be hard to track down.

Im finding that really hard to track.

My Dad sometimes speaks to Michael Robinson when he goes to Spain...er that is not very helpful. Gerry Ryan used to run a pub near lindfield. Gordon Smith son plays for Swindon you could ask him :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

Steve Foster is a Chief Design Technician for Heinz in Roehampton now. He produces draft designs for those little mini-sachets which hold ketchup, brown sauce and other condiments that you find in cafeterias and food outlets such as Brewers Fayre.

Chris Ramsey may be hard one to track down!

And I thought Fozzie was still living in Hove and working in the sports insurance trade.
