Caught this one on Monday and it was wedged, but I did get a seat in the last coach! However, the guard kept apologising for the over crowding due to a previous train failure at Preston Park, which had chucked all the punters onto this one. I have caught the 07:37 before and easily got a seat at PP. I usually get the 06:44 to Victoria which is basically empty!

There's a 737 between Preston Park and London Bridge?

That'll get the journey time down a bit!!

I often get that train and seats are pretty hard to come by.

Little tip. Get the 07:22 Preston Park - Brighton. This (generally) pulls in on the platform adjacent to the 07:33 LB (07:37 from PP) Sit back and enjoy watching your PP pals scramble for the last remaining seat.

I get this train quite regularly. You can almost always get a seat, but it is crowded, and be happy you're not getting on at Haywards Heath as the seats have certainly all gone by then.
