I really liked the 1st two albums after that he tunred into a caricature of himself and camped it to become a bit girly in his appeal.

His early stuff with the Faces was pretty good too if not quite as cool as Stevie Marriot's Small Faces

Maggie Bell (I think) from Stone the Crows was on the title track.

What a singer, I remember when she was in Brighton, the mike packed in so she carried on regardless. Ontinous Performance was a great album.

Surely, Sailing is Rod Stewart's best-ever song. Because it inspired "We are Brighton".
