I don't think that driving any type of vehicle at 30 mph on a 70 mph road is a very wise thing to do.

Cyclists shouldn't even be allowed on 70mph roads, in my opinion cyclists should be banned from using any roads with a speed limit of over 40mph.

So, the countryside is off limits then.

I think that anyone who cycles on a busy dual carriageway where the speed limit is 60 or 70 is a bit 'challenged'. However, to suggest that I shouldn't be able to cycle between towns on back roads is just silly. Slow down for a second - you'll never be held up for long.
