Does anybody else talk slower to thick people ?

Was just speaking to a thick person and found myself talking slower so he could understand. It was like I was talking to a 2 year old. Almost patted him on the head at the end of the conversation.

I adopt the Joey Barton method of speaking English with the accent of whatever country the person I am talking to comes from. This is the enlightened and culturally sensitive way of speaking to Jonny F.
