I think this this may be an example of someone getting total bullshit published.

The Sidewinder is an air-to-air missile. It's a heat seeking missile, not a radar guided weapon. (Except for the few radar guided ones made for F-8s that eventually got transformed into AGM-122s, that the RAF never had F-8s, and the F-8 exited service in 1999). Also, the hand held radar devices that the Police use have a measuring range over a few hundred yards. Were it a laser device, at least the first three sentences would be more plausible.

Speed cameras are the devils spawn, they should all be destroyed! It's not even about law and order, its just a cash machine for the government as if they didnt screw us enough already!!

I certainly think that's true of mobile speed cameras. I wouldn't get rid of all of them though. I'd bring in a lot more average speed cameras, as they actually ensure people do the correct speed.

if there is a car coming toward you with the gatso on his side, and you accelerate toward it, you can make it flash. someone's already said it works by bouncing signals off the car, but if you're there too, it confuses the camera and makes it flash.

works a treat along either preston road, opposite the park, or up ditchling road.

So, you were speeding, but want to get out of it on a technicality? Just take your fine and learn your lesson.

Also works well by Broadwater Bridge in Worthing. If the camera in Pulbourough is anything like the one in Worthing your car won't even be in the picture as the camera angle is set to show the lane going away from the camera, not the whole road.
