I liked it....plenty of room for the Doctor's character to develop, Karen Gillan was suprisingly good as well.........shame about the nasty new theme music and the cheap aliens though.

Edit: And it was a bit 'Girl in The Fireplace' as well, which I guess Steven Moffat is allowed to do

I was a child when I watched the first one, just never got out of the habit.

I liked it mostly overall. Not great by any stretch, but I laughed a few times at some of the surreal moments (such as throwing the bread and butter out and yelling to "stay out!").

I'm not sure Matt Smith has differentiated himself from David Tennant yet. Girl was cute, but annoying early on. May grow on me.

I didn't see the point of rebuilding the inside of the tardis and making it so similar to how it was before. They should have either gone wild with the design, or returned it to how it was.

I really enjoyed it and was about to contact the BBC and complain that the Police uniform wasn't authentic, fortunately they explained why.

Can't wait for the Dalek one - looks as though they are on our side!

Compared the Series 1 Rose I think it is a heck of a lot more exciting but the episode itself just sits behind some of Davies' highlights but I think there is so much expectation to dwarf Davies.

I think something old is returning for the silence of the universe. Maybe Davros or the return of another Timelord who despises Earth/the Doctor (Rani)
