Yes, that press release very carefully doesn't mention the stars.

Sounds quite good, but the combinaton of no Smith, £40 tickets and the fact that it will be full of screaming little shits means I will probably wait for the inevitbale DVD!

Most people really like him. There's the inevitable people who are professing to love him a bit too much as a kind of backlash against Tennant, and a few people who think he lacks the real character of Doctors 9 and 10, but generally positive. He's certainly bringing something quite original to the role as far as I can see.
