Do you WIPE standing up or sitting down?

Why would anyone wipe standing up ? The increased risk of winnetts due to unlocated and therefor non removed smearage must surely put most sane people off this barbaric practice.

I am in my 60s and have never heard of anyone doing a standing wipe. Shirley this is a wind up.
