A good friend of mine is a Birmingham fan, and throughout this season we've frenetically calling/texting each other, and generally wishing each other success (and offering condolences..) apart from when we play each other of course.

When they made the playoffs, i was backing them. When we played Villa the other year, he was in with us shouting abuse at the Vilains.

Good man. :)

Yeah I tend to have banter with my mates , jokes and put downs etc... but I hope they do well for them. normally I'm one of the first to send congratulations texts etc.. when they achieve success

I know far too many Sussex people who support Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs - so no, I don't wish their plastic teams well, in fact it's hard to take them seriously as football fans at all.

Haven't been on here in a while, but it's still so flattering to know that you're still obcessed with Tottenham. It's cute infact, unless you're over the age of 16 (due to your join date
I'm guessing you are), then it's a bit sad.

Not quite sure how you can say Spurs are plastic, but not Man United.

errr. No.

Not many teams I care about other than BHA to be honest.
Used to be a Wimbledon follower, but since they became MK Dons have left them to it.

in general I like English teams to do well in Europe, so will shout them on. Living on the south coast I don't really care about scottish, welsh or irish teams.

The exception is I would never support Palace.

Let's not get too paranoid eh? Not singling out Spurs at all. Not a plastic club, but they have supporters in the south who have never been to a game, no relevant connection to the club beyond seeing them as a successful-ish club to support etc. etc. Not interested in any further debate - enjoy your Spurs supporting life. Cheers.
