Regardless of the subject, that is not a bloke who can think on his feet. How can you go into a Gay Times interview without knowing what you think of the issues? Shocking. I'm guessing that's the last minority interest interview for a while. You can hear the old-school Tories spluttering into their port - "That damn fool Cameron, we don't need the woofter vote..."

Yes , we need a quick thinker like Gordon Brown:lolol: you only have to witness him sweating and trembling at the despatch box during PMQs:dunce:

Let's keep it on 'Right-On Dave' for a moment. He was crap, wasn't he? He's even making Broon the Cloon look good. :lolol:

Cameron, Brown, both shithouse really. Nick Clegg please.

Mind you, I'm so disillusioned - to the extent that I'd quite enjoy seeing Brown elected just to witness bushy's reaction on here. :lolol:

You're like a small child at a birthday party playing musical chairs, only it's the anyone but cameron seat you're desperately trying to find :lolol: It's been amusing watching your hysterical 'get miliband in now' cries , and now its nick clegg who is one of the good guys, and you accuse the tories of being inconsistent :lolol:

Showed labour up for what the really are.

It's all very well being strong in opposition (which, let's face it, the Tories aren't), it's whether Cameron is able to convince people that he will lead a strong Tory government, I'm not sure he's convincing that many people of that at the moment.

Brainwashed by the media. It goes in cycles, the media get behind a party, then turn. Seen it all before.

In retrospect we've never had it so good as we have under Labour. They have doen a fantastic job but many are blinded as they are brainwashed.

In 4 years time when the media turns again, there will be an identical thread with roles reversed.

People need to wake up to reality

I'm by no means a Cameron supporter but he clearly supports gay equality AND free votes, and it's hardly his fault centre right MEPS didn't come out in support.

The Gay Times is simply seizing on the opportunity to highlight the issue and force Labour to "accomodate" them even more (if that is at all possible).

The Tories will now need to bend over backwards to regain the gay vote, so expect to see Derek Lord trotted out (2 for the price of one there!)

It takes decades to change Tory opinion on issues like Europe, immigration and gay rights, is it REALLY realistic to have expected Cameron to have this issue sorted in Europe.

That said, he need to be better prepared. I'm disappointed that he didn't make it clear he was pro-gay rights more clearly, or maybe he did but that bit got edited out??
