Do You Use a Man Bag?

I've changed my mind, what on earth would I put in a man bag?
Going back to your original question a male colleague once turned up with what can only be described as a giant handbag, it was bright green.

Kindly keep your comments to yourself unless they relate to one of your male friends, male colleagues or male partners' (ex or current) penchant for man bags. Have you ever been out with a man who sported a man bag and if so did his masculinity diminish in any way in your eyes?

....which begs the question why a handkerchief and tissues? Doesn't one serve the function of the other or are you a belt and braces man? Likewise the Leatherman and penknife. Why invest in an expensive Leatherman only to then carry a seperate penknife. It's absolute madness.

Thanks to this thread I have discovered that I have been using a manbag for many years under the impression that I was carrying what I referred to naively as a "bag".

Was I also a member of the metropolitan elite without realising it or is it necessary to consciously choose to carry a manbag to become a member?

Got this modest Gucci number for keys, wallet, phone, sunglasses and other male essentials and yes, i do wear it to football although it does attract some unwarrented attention but who cares I'm well in touch with my feminine side to the point where some say I over-indulge it!!
