What would it take to turn your confidence around then? Just about every hotshot high-profile manager this season is struggling to retain their credibility.

His over cautious approach just does not instill confidence, especially with 15/20 minutes to go, protecting a 1 goal lead. What's happening elsewhere has nothing to do with feeling confident.

I am sure that we have a list of players to sign. The only thing I have against CH was his insistence when Bong got injured that LR and Calderon were good enough cover. We should have gone all out for a replacement as we have suffered badly by LR moving from right midfield, even before his injury.

I heard that we may be bringing in Liam Ridgewell on loan.
If true then that would be good.
I was told not to say anything but I could not resist a look at me post.
But for f***s sake don't tell anyone else.

No 'look at me' post. Just stating a fact. Does that grate you for some reason??

Very intelligent response.

Well, to be honest, it was 'ballocks'. You can't predict everything - Rosenior was splendid cover at LB; for wide midfield we still had March, Murphy, Elvis and Calde (with Harper lurking in the wings) - and short term, should our second choice LB get injured as well, Calde in anyone's books (except your's) would be OK as third choice LB. Of course, CH should have consulted one of the Petulengro family (do they still do the horoscopes in the Argus?), who would doubtless have told him that Marrch too would be out long term, but...................................................................

We are Brighton, not bl**dy Chelsea - we can't have three or four or five top class players lined up and covering every possible position.

But if LR hadn't moved from right mid, March wouldn't have discovered the form of his life.

This is the frustration, teams like Burnley and Bournemouth, both gained promotion from a position where their key players stayed ever present.... the Albion however, gets players performing who then dissappear for long periods as seen over the last few seasons...

Lua Lua
March
Bong
Rosenior
Hunnemier
Baldock
Greer
Stephens ( in and out)
Crofts ( in and out)
Plus others....

LR was NOt adequate cover at left back. He was far better cover than we have now but as soon as he went to left back Murphy tailed off as he
wasnt getting given the balls he needs to take kn tge full back and as a result we have lost our attacking momentum.

Words fail me. You seriously think Rosenior was good enough to play left back for Hull in the FA Cup Final 18 months ago but not good enough to cover left back for us. Seriously. You need to watch games rather than allow your prejudices to take over.

Added to that, Hughton did try to get cover in case we lost Rosenior but we couldn't get the right player so why not stop moaning about it? It is boring.
