Not seen such Bravery!
Free up CMS's and Kemy's wages and we'll have enough to sign at least 1 decent striker.

Much is being made of who we need to get shot of, but how confident are you that CH will be given a war chest big enough to replace these players with players who will be an improvement?
I am not at all convinced we will be spending any more than we did this season as we have been told this is the highest paid team we have ever had.
Taking into account the lack of income from outgoing players this year, what makes you think TB is suddenly going to splash the cash on the playing front
I think we'll be marking time and trying to stay in this division until the academy produces.
Is the correct answer. See Beram Kayal as a very good example.

Who is this decent striker we could get and afford Bobby Zamora?
I would like to see them write off any money Leicester owe still on Ulloa and get him back.
CH is a very astute manager and will have already earmarked some players he wants, which I think means they won't neccessarily be expensive, we already have a good squad which will be tinkered with in the Summer, just needs adding too and some will be on their way
We will be condemned to being midtable fodder if we dont spend.
It's all very well going on about Kayal but it's very unlikley you can build a promotion team on freebies. Of course not impossible, just very unlikely. And the board need to do a better job backing Hughton than that.
No idea. I'm sure there is one somewhere that the paid professionals can identify.
We've already let go (sort of) Collunga, McCourt and Toko. Add Kemy and CMS to that and that should free up some significant wages without even exceeding this year's wage bill.
I think the key is spending wisely on a more streamlined squad of 18-20 senior players plus a handful of DS who can step up when injuries or suspensions kick in.

I think we are going to have to spend, in that I mean actually spend proper money on transfer fees
I'm with you on this, I don't think there are many Kayals out there and he plays in a position that doesn't have a big premium on good players. We did well there as he was out of favour and had been longish term injured, we could have ended up with a sick note. He is looking an excellent bit of business. I think we are going to have to spend, in that I mean actually spend proper money on transfer fees, not a high earning freebie, to get a decent strike force. We are so far short of the required standard in that position. We spent two million on Baldock and he is no better than average and also appears to be a bit of a sick note. You don't get much for your money in the striker department in this division so mentioning Kayal as an example of how you can get value doesn't really work for forwards.
I think we have a reasonable midfield but we desperately need pace in defence and up front and that is going to cost ....imo.
The top scorer in the Championship this season , Daryl Murphy, has scored 7 more goals than Ulloa last season already and was signed on a free transfer by Ipswich in 2013.
Troy Deeney who is on track to be scoring 20 goals in the Champ for the third season in a row was signed by Watford for £250K in 2010.
Glenn Murray who , cough , scored 31 goals in the Champ was signed on a free...shall i go on.
