On the occasions I do watch on replay I fast forward through all the waffle ( unless they are talking about an Albion victory ). It makes it a much quicker and pleasurable experience.

More to the point, does anyone still watch MOTD without knowing the results for the games, and always look away when told to do so by the BBC News reader just before MOTD starts.

It’s on a series link record but only watch it if we’ve won, and never bother watching any of the other matches.

I don't like it. The highlights and punditry are reductive.
The amount of times I've watched a game, not just ours, and the highlights and punditry totally distort the reality of what actually happened.
I get that it's format doesn't allow for anything too nuanced or detailed but if you only watch MOTD you'd have a very strange idea about most teams. You'd certainly have no idea about some of the better players at unfashionable clubs for instance.
