yes, I always, always start my sentences with capital letters and finish them with full stops

I sometimes feel a little lonely in my self-made Pedant's Corner, but then i come on NSC and find like-small-minded grammar-nazis such as Artois on my side.
It makes me feel alright again.

i usually cant be arsed either and especially for that capitilisation of 'i'. why though, do some people put a comma after 'but' or 'and' in mid sentence ??? is it really necessary ?
