If/When you get your new stadium, holds 25,000? How are you going to fill that? There must be 25,000 palace fans around surely, or are you going to have some PLASTICS having you as their second team? I'll go with the second one

Ex-f***ing-actly , for what it's worth the amount of "second teamers" (PLASTICS if you will) I believe is massively exaggerated - but hey don't let FACTS stop this Palace fans.

If one of 15 Prem clubs come in for him he will be off before you can say "McAnuff in the last minute"

Where does this constant shit you talk come from? For Gus to leave us it would have to a top 5 or 6 prem team. He has opening said it would need to be special. Can't see a team from below top 6 as special.

And we all know that would never happen.

HE'S ON A WIND UP , some fans from up the road come on here and talk a good game - but then we get alot of Oxygen thieves like some of the lot in this thread and will carry on without any real substance trying to get a reaction.

What I think is hurting palarce the most is that they have exceeded their own expectations so far this season yet they are 6 points behind us after six games.

We are top of the league despite the fact that we have been without some of our high profile players.

Hoskins,lua lua,buckley & we now have vicente.

Even the most stupidest of pikey can see the writing on the wall.

:D:D:D:DPalace fans still cling to the 5-0 thrashing they gave us...and it was a thrashing...but what...nine years ago...anybody can go back into history and talk of the past victories...here is one for Palace fans....14/1/1955...EASY!
C'mon Palace fans....have you an answer....the silence is hurting.....or have you realised you got thrashed 5-0 that day by the Albion

I expect your crowds to dwindle around the 11k mark next season. Have fun playing the Clowns from SE19 in League 1.

Actually I think you will find they will be around 30000 in the Premiership. You really haven't grasped things have changed have you ?. Yes over the last 20 years I suppose we have been a " small club " but now the whole set up is completely different. What is so difficult to understand about that ?.

There were virtually no Palace fans on here for years. We were so shit that most of you weren't bothered about us. Now all of a sudden we are good again, and you're all flocking on here to tell us how our stadium is shit and we are a small club and not as good as you etc. None of you bothered to do that before, so clearly you are in a fluster about us now. It will be interesting to see how many of you stay on here after we hammer you on the 27th.

Yes yes, until you get your new 'identikit' stadium of course and then I'm sure you'll think differently.

The only things you lot will be hammering are your boyfriends

Most would agree the top 6 are:

Man U
Liverpool
Chelsea
Arsenal
Man City
Spurs

You honestly think, if one of these following clubs came in for Gus he wouldn't leave?!

Villa
Newcastle
Everton
Sunderland
Wolves
Celtic
Rangers
Leeds
West Ham
Forest

And that's without mentioning some big clubs from Spain, Italy and Germany or his native South America

Honestly, no i think he would not go, he will want to finish the job he has started here. Gus has openly said, he will stay until he feels the club cant improve anymore.
With the backing of Tony Bloom, the club has every chance of improving year after year...

Neither are going to happen. Sorry to put a dampener on it.

The thing is you just don't know. I didn't think we'd be top of League 1 from Sept - the end of the season.
Look how well Huddersfield played last year and they didn't get promoted. I'm not saying we'll get promoted,
but you can't 100% rule it out.

To be fair you've started better than I thought you would and to be honest you can discount relegation and are
probably more likely to be in playoff fight than a relegation one.

I just f*cking hope we stuff you on 27th, then we'll have a better idea of where we both are

Fair enough but I would have to disagree. The clubs listed are all huge clubs and I doubt any sensible manager with ambition would think twice. But if he did turn down such a job then fair play, you don't see much loyalty in football today. I remember thinking the same when Martinez stayed at Wigan instead of joining Villa but I also thought (and still do) he was mad to turn down such a great opportunity.
