Hold on... wasn't the Britannia by Piccadilly Gardens was it?

Indeed it was. Brittannia Sachas just a street back from the Gardens (Back Piccadiily). Didn't see a lot of it mind, checked in, went straight out to the match, got back, went straight out to the pubs/bars, got back at 2am, went out again with my camera taking pictures of St Patrick's nights revellers in the snow - in again at 3am, left early morning!

Brighton factually.....
When we used to go to Pontins at Hemsby for the out of season Rock'a'Billy and Psychobilly weekenders there twice a year back in the 80s and 90s we were young and dumb.
In our chalet we would unscrew the shower heads and put either coffee or teabags in them and then screw them back up.
Leave stink bombs under the carpets in the doorways.
I also knew a German that took a dump and put it in the ice cube cubicle thing and put it back in the freezer, knowing full well the electrics would be switched off after the cleaners came round after we had left, ready for the summer holiday season, and it would stink out the place.
All very childish, and I know better now, but it made me laugh at the time.
