Not religious in any way shape or form religion is evil
But yes I know that thing off by heart even when it other bits were added
" for thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever and ever "
wasnt added until sometime in the 70's it's not in the original prayer.

It was in the prayers in the 60's when i recited them.

Our Father which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever.
Amen.

Yes, I do.

But as a preacher who leads worship fairly regularly, I always make sure i have it written down somewhere and open when it comes to that bit of the service.

The Methodist Church's service book carries two versions of it - modern and traditional. I am aware of the "Debtors' version as well. hope this link works. (edit) which I don't think it has

file:///C:/Users/David/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/INetCache/Content.Outlook/8Z7ZHKJM/20160111_091452.jpg

EDIT - again
didn't work, so I'll type the "modern" version.

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours,
now and for ever. Amen

Yes because I went to a roman catholic school. Hate the way we were made to learn it by rote without any explanation of why or what it means.

I'm 27 and I know it. I wouldn't say I am perfect at it though, probably about 75% as I get some lines mixed around

Went to church until the age of 11, so Sunday school is probably where I learnt it although all I remember is wanting to get home in time for Thunderbirds

I always mimed it at school so it gets a bit wishy washy at the end.

My Old Lang Syne is pretty crap as well and I only know the first three word in Abide with me.
Never too late to learn...

Abide With Me
Abide with me; fast falls the eventide;
The darkness deepens; Lord, with me abide;
When other helpers fail and comforts flee,
Help of the helpless, oh, abide with me.

Swift to its close ebbs out life’s little day;
Earth’s joys grow dim, its glories pass away;
Change and decay in all around I see—
O Thou who changest not, abide with me.

I need Thy presence every passing hour;
What but Thy grace can foil the tempter’s pow’r?
Who, like Thyself, my guide and stay can be?
Through cloud and sunshine, Lord, abide with me.

I fear no foe, with Thee at hand to bless;
Ills have no weight, and tears no bitterness;
Where is death’s sting? Where, grave, thy victory?
I triumph still, if Thou abide with me.

Hold Thou Thy cross before my closing eyes;
Shine through the gloom and point me to the skies;
Heav’n’s morning breaks, and earth’s vain shadows flee;
In life, in death, O Lord, abide with me.

Auld Lang Syne
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot,
And auld lang syne!

Chorus.-For auld lang syne, my dear,
For auld lang syne.
We'll tak a cup o' kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.

And surely ye'll be your pint stowp!
And surely I'll be mine!
And we'll tak a cup o'kindness yet,
For auld lang syne.
For auld, &c.

We twa hae run about the braes,
And pou'd the gowans fine;
But we've wander'd mony a weary fit,
Sin' auld lang syne.
For auld, &c.

We twa hae paidl'd in the burn,
rae morning sun till dine;
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin' auld lang syne.
For auld, &c.

And there's a hand, my trusty fere!
And gie's a hand o' thine!
And we'll tak a right gude-willie waught,
For auld lang syne.
For auld, &c.

Nope.

Only hear it at gatherings (weddings etc) and I never join in with the prayers anyway. I probably could mumble it up to "And lead us not into temptation" with prompting.

Oh yes it was! Certainly was there (and not looked upon as a new addition) in the 1950s.

Yep still remember the original version hammered in at school, along with the 'Times Tables' up to 12, plus 14 times and 16 times (for pounds and ounces).

In the early 70's in the bovver-boy era, I recall there was a version that included:
"Our father which art in heaven, bovver be thy name
Bovver will be done on earth as it is in heaven ............
[forgotten]........
Lead us not into streetfights, but deliver us from the bill"
