Saturday at 23.50. Albion were away at Oldham Athletic. I couldn't make it that day.

I'm full of woe, having been born on a Wednesday.

Hadn't really noticed, though, although my favourite character from the House at Pooh Corner and so on has always been Eeyore!

I think that's more to do with the subject of your football loyalties.

Sunday, 3:30pm, I'm not even sure what blythe is unless it relates to Spartans.

edit: just looked it up and it means 'joyous', which is currently being disputed by my work colleagues  As if I'm going to waste my joyousness at work.

Also full of woe.

Appropriate, really, since we lost 1-3 to Watford @ the Goldstone that day.

And we finished bottom of Div 3 South.

And I STILL haven't got the match programme.

Do you think I am full of woe because I support the football team mentioned in my user-name....., which I don't.

Or are you also full of woe because you, too, are a lifelong supporter of Brighton and Hove Albion - first match in 1967.

The Albion were at home. I think Dad missed the game (I THINK...).

I don't know what day I was born on but I know my wife wasn't born last Friday because when I told her I couldn't get home from the pub earlier on the Saturday because it was raining so hard........ She told me that she wasn't born yesterday you know.

Saturday. My father was a geordie, and at the cup final (last time NUFC won the cup).
My mother was apparrently underwhelmed by his condition, and the present of his cup final scarf.

No, I always assumed you were an Albion fan. Had you supported Southampton 'woe' would have been 'abject depression'.
