About 3 or 4 months ago, IT updated all our systems at work, giving us a new login, updated email, all that crap. Anyway, under the NEW signon, I can't access NSC - its websensed. However, on the OLD signon, which is still running, I can still access NSC. The problem is, they've disabled the old email, so while I can piss about on here to my hearts content under my old signon, I don't know if I've had an email till I sign out of the old system and into the new one and boot up my Outlook. Not in itself a problem, unless Boss Man asks me what I think about the email he sent me 45 minutes ago, which tested my blagging skills to the limit before I was forced to declare a sudden need for the toilet.

Its a right royal pain in the ARSE. You people who can still have NSC lurking behind your work windows don't know how lucky you are. Sooner or later, someone in IT is going to ask why I'm signing in and out of the systems about 10 times a day.

Just thought I'd share that with you. Thanks for taking the trouble.

Cheeky pixie Artois, I'm not falling for THAT.
Theres nothing more galling than fannying about signing all the way out of the old system, into the new one, only to find an empty inbox. Pisses me right off that does. I want to waste my EMPLOYERS time, not mine.

As far as I know websence doesn't block NSC, all they would have to do is run an audit to see what your up to all day or just look in with out you knowing.

It does. "Chat".

However, I have (legit) access to the websense control lists in work. And the "clear log" button ;)
