I worked with the cousin of a very famous singer of a boy band who went solo and had an even more successful career. He never spoke about him, in fact I only found out this fact after about 5 years working together.

I worked with a girl* who's dad married Brighton page 3 girl Jane Warner.

*fancied her something rotten. She was single and liked me but I didn't have the bottle to ask her out, stupid boy that I was.

A few years ago I jumped into a mate’s car to travel to anAlbion away match. I’d never met one of my fellow travelling supporters before and when we stopped at a service station he bought a movie magazine and I asked if he had a particular interest in movies. “Yes, I’m an actor” he said. Then I realised it was Ralph Brown - lovely guy.
rb (as it was) used to post on NSC and on the old mailing list. I have an amusing photo (old school - on Kodak paper) of me and Ralph chatting in a pub (could have been the end of season match at Vale Park many years ago) with me looking obviously thrilled, and in the background someone else who (very rarely) posts on NSC and who did not like rb, smirking knowingly.

My brother-in-law is world-famous and (I think) seen as the absolute best in the world at what he does (did). Problem is, it's so obscure that I've only ever met one person who has ever heard of him. Partly because I don't move in those kind of circles. I was with him when he got recognised in Waitrose in Haywards Heath though, so that was exciting.
Do tell…?

I cab shared with him after a war years demo. I think the cab ride was from the FA HQ to Fulham. I then bumped into him again post-match in The Half Moon in Putney. Nice guy but he kept calling me by the wrong name.

Does this vaguely count? My mate's wife is in the recent Walkers Crisps advert featuring David Beckham and Thierry Henry. She's the brunette opening the door at 0.30 seconds in.

Reminds me - I had lunch with a colleague from another county last week, his colleague once had to call on the Beckhams at Beckham Towers - he turned up in his council Fiesta, was beeped in the electric gates, parked next to the Ferrari, knocked on the door - which was answered by Posh Spice in her dressing gown.

Perhaps she got distracted, thinking of Gary Hart.

I knew the son (he has since moved out of town) of Engelbert Humperdinck. Didn’t talk about his dad apart from me to mention my favorite song of his was “Green Green Grass Of Home”.
I got arrested a few years back for playing his records too loud late at night , but it turned out ok , police released me ......let me go :lolol:

I was talking to one of Mrs DCHs friends who said she was off to visit a friend in California. She never mentions it but her friend is married to a very well known Hollywood actor.

In the late 70s a friend in our group use to spend time with the members of The Stranglers at their house/flat in Brunswick Square , he said they were ok if you just "behaved normal" but they would send anyone who fawned over them packing .

I taught George Clooney's nephew at a private school in Singapore for a year. (Amal Clooney's sister's kid). Obviously I never met Uncle George.

Being a teacher in an international school means you hear lots of stories of people who have taught celeb kids.
One of my colleagues taught chemistry to Patrick Vieira's daughter when he was at Inter Milan.
