Are you friends with/related to/work with any Palace fans?

My elder brother is a life long Eagle and used to go home and away when he was younger.

He never misses a chance to remind me about the 5v0 game.

How many of you think you will be contacted by a Palace fan at some point today?

Why oh why did you start this thread..it just plays into the hands of our rivals to make sarcastic comments from a point of strength.

What point of strength? All it has done so far is prove that we are grown-ups with broad minds and the Palace fans who post on here, Brighton Rock aside, are childish billy no-mates'. I think so far it's served it's purpose very well.

I lived with a Palace fan for 6 months, when they beat us 5-0 I was so enraged I poured petrol over his shirt (not wearing it of course) and set it alight, main reason for it was that he painted a massive great Eagle on my door

Ok enough said. I will keep my viewpoint to myself.

We continue to state that we will talk, walk and enjoy the company of our 'friends' and they can slice in with comments to the effect that they do not and will not give us the time of day.

Yes you are quite right we are the victors in this battle of cynical humour. How foolish of me.

PS Even I got drawn into replying but was saddened to see the reply from Eagles#1.

Don't keep your viewpont to yourself Perry, I wasn't having a dig at you. As for Eagles#1 I doubt very much he'd be so smug if he had to have these conversations face to face with us. Judging by his silence for the past hour or so I'd take it that he has crawled back under his stone.

I managed to "out" a Palace fan at work who was generally quiet about it when I first joined. He got me back by getting me a Palace scarf as my secret santa present (i assume it was him) a couple of years ago.

A former workplace also had one Palace fan, who names his Fantasy team "Just Up For the Year" every time they make it to the Premiership.

The sexiest girl I knew as a youth married a Palace season ticket holder  . I try to dislike him, but he's ok really!

Oh, and just for Eagles#1, everywhere I've worked, I've come across Brighton supporters in all sorts of unlikely places, so you obviously don't get out enough!

we are rivals. its quite funny to see how easily you all get wound up. i have never ever met a Brighton fan. i come on the Brighton board to wind you up and it evidently works. im not exactly going to come on here and say 'hi chaps, good day at work?' get over it yea. ban me if its to 'much' for ya.

A mate of mine who has done a lot of decorating for us at home is Palace, as is his brother and all his family. They went to Holy Trinity School in Crawley, where they caught the disease. We both go to the same church. When they do the Peace, we shake hands with one hand and pretend to stab each other in the back with the other. My Mathematics teacher at school was a Palace fan, who hails from Redhill.
