Like many others, I stuck with milk deliveries out of a sense that it was the right thing to do - valuable service to the elderly and housebound and all that.

But gave up on it a few years ago, with the same reasons as many others on here - it was no longer daily; my needs fluctuated greatly, depending on who had the kids that week and other factors; it was expensive; and frankly, it went off much quicker than the stuff I bought in the supermarket, and I often ended up chucking some of it away. Shame, but I guess that's progress (of sorts!)
