Just turned away guy introducing himself as an ex offender trying to turn his life around,didn't buy don't buy.Find the pratice of door knocking quite abhorrent But feel for anyone looking for work in this climate with added baggage!
What do you say to the door knockers!

No cald callers at all - in fact I don't usually answer the door if I'm not expecting someone.

We had a spate of door to door "chuggers" last year. Battersea Dogs Home & St Johns Ambulance to name but two. Very persistent and they make it quite difficult to get rid of them without being aggressive.

Last year a guy knocked on the door representing one of the energy companies , when I pointed to the neighbourhood watch sign in the window which said "no salesmen or cold callers please" he told me he was an "customer advisor"

I let my bullmastiff down the hallway & struggle to hold him back as he try's to jump up (hes pretty tall when he's on his back legs) they soon f*** off
