Do you appreciate living near the sea?

Every weekend I go up to Luton to see my girlfriend. Its only when I get back and look out over the sea on a day like today, I really really appreciate how lucky I am to live here. Luton feels so enclosed to me. Still not used to it after 6 years. Hopefully it wont be long and my girlfriend can get a teaching job back down here.

Certainly. Once you've lived by the sea, anything else just feels unnatural. Which is why I'm just about to move even closer to the sea, the better to indulge two hardwired Brightonian passions: swimming, and fishing. The new beach even has Brighton-sized pebbles!

Of course, if Luton were to be miraculously plonked beside the sea, it would still be Luton...

Days like yesterday make it brilliant, and if you live in Sussexshire and get bored of the sea you can head a couple of miles north and walk along the Downs. Perfect place to live

Sunshine + Gemini's + Live Music = PERFECT way to waste a sunny afternoon, and to think only a month a go, there were people making snowmen

Is Volks up and running yet!

If Luton was plonked next door I would move away. It feels like there is always a lot on tension up there and it is ready to go off. Girlfriend lives quite near the stadium, I would not be happy walking around there at night.

Nestling in green nowhere
With my panoramic view of Brighton taking in both the Palace Pier and West Pier from every window in my flat. I don't think I could live happily anywhere else. :)
