Do we now need anymore players before the transfer deadline?

Another winger, ship out COG and Colunga and buy another No. 10 type player that is actually effective.

I agree. COG is only going o get the scraps at the end of the game, until Zamora is fit, and then that job will probably go to Hemed. Colunga may be worth another shot playing alongside Hemed or Zamora, but it doesn't look like Hughton has much faith in him. Sending both out on loan and getting in a proven goal scorer has to be the way to go.

Don't forget some players like Harper are dev squad/first team squad crossover players. If I remember correctly, players under 21 don't have to be named in the 25 but can be played still.
25 man squads are just for Premier League. Championship sides arn't limited at all.

I'm quite pleased with our transfer activity so far this season, especially compared to last!, but I still think we could do with adding another winger and a proven goalscorer.

My priority would be a striker because, aside from Zamora, and who knows how much he'll play this season, we are short of proven goalscorers.
I still don't rate Baldock and would be glad to see him go, COG I can't see being prolific for us and from the little I've seen of Hemed he seems to have a good first touch and positional sense but shooting appears a bit wayward.

The priority has to be a striker with some PACE. I'd be quite happy to see a young PL speedster come in on loan.

define 'need'. We'll probably be safe with what we have. If we have any pretensions of promotion I'd suggest we'd have to be a bit bolder regardless of who's in the squad. You'll see what I mean when Bournemouth qualify for Europe.

I quite liked the look of Tom Bradshaw of Walsall as cover for Baldock, quite quick and playing well at the minute. Another league 1 player though.

Talking of needing a striker...anyone else think that Koita looked a bit of a handful at times for Blackburn today? I was quite surprised when he was subbed off, unless he picked up a knock.

A quick search on him shows he had a loan spell at Le Harve. We've a bit of a link with them haven't we? Wonder if he ever appeared on our radar? Too late now of course seeing as Blackburn only just signed him up.

Agree. A lot of good work in the transfer window so far, but without that out and out striker it's a worry.

In order of most likely? I'm #teamTex.

Stephen Ward ?

After being dominated in the air against Matt Smith and by Blackburn and with Ipswich coming up, it looks like we need a new centre half!

Still need to improve the supply to the strikers. A long throw specialist who can reach the far post would be handy.
