He is the worst PM the country has ever seen. He was a useless chancellor too, but he got away with it as he had the good fortune to be there during a decade of favourable global conditions, which masked his incompetence.

I think he is struggling not because he is really useless (although the 10p thing seems strange) but because he is Autistic. I really think he is on the spectrum, introspective, solitary, single minded, depressive, highly intelligent...Aspergers only really started to be diagnosed in 1994, I reckon he has slipped through the net.

Politicians these days have to be all show and no substance a'la Blair, Brown is just too, well,...odd...to cut it in a media savvy age.

All the Tory leaders we've had for the last 29 years are as bad as each other.

About time for a PROPER Labour PM like Dennis Skinner

he isnt bad, just he isnt any good either. it just seems to have gone wrong for him. the problem is he has an autocratic style but seems to lack actual leadership, strange as he seem to boss other ministers around when Chancellor. too much following the old New Labour way of following the headlines rather than actually acting on a strategic vision which im sure he has. doesnt seem to be his own man, its almost as if he's got a bunch of people around him trying to make him f*** up. all very strange really.

The most depressing thing about him is that he just bulldozes his way through questioning by spouting out made-up statistics. "We've taken 600,000/800,000/1million chilldren out of poverty": figure quoted depends on pressure he's under and he never actually defines what he means. And yesterday, in his John Humphreys interview, he twice shouted "inflation was 10% in the early '90s". Taking his published figures, inflation was 7.0% in 1990, 7.1% in 1991 and hasn't been higher than 4.3% since.

A pretty good Chancellor, but so far a pretty awful PM from a Labour administration who seem intent on pissing everyone including their core support off.

I reckon it was ASlaistair Campbell who sorted out Blair, notice how when he was gone, it really went pear shape for Blair and Labour. Campbell would have ensured that the nonsense of the 10p tax, would never have happened, and if it did, he would have had an orchestrated and clear message, not the present contradictory and bumbling mess!

I like how Cameron is yelping "he's stealing my best ideas and policies", but harping on about Labour leading us down a path to disaster.

Well Cameron you utter GOON, what does that say about your best ideas and policies?

Also, Cameron rabbits about how BAD, how AWFUL, how HORRIBLE, and all that - but then he's been saying how he doesn't want to be one of those that just criticizes the incumbent party, but wishes to present how the tories will do things better!

Well then? HOW ffs, and WHEN arer you going to stfu with the negs and present these fascinating policies??

Cameron, quite frankly, can go to hell - he'd be a disaster for this country, for sure.

(not that I'm happy with Brown)
