I enjoyed the FA cup win against Palace the other week too....we made them look very ordinary.

Very memorable for me as it was my first ever brighton game and started the obsession I have now and am passing on to my children :albion2:

Edit: the Burnley 0-1 game that is....

Oh, the victory helps, and it often the key point.

But to criticise people for choosing a game where we lost? Nah - poor form.

He’s not though is he? He’s asking if any of our fans would choose that as their favourite league game at the Amex.

I’m with him: I’d be astonished if anyone would, certainly hose who have been regular attendees at the Amex since we moved there.

That’s not to say it wasn’t memorable though, as it so obviously was.

After the 2nd red, that was without a doubt the most POISONOUS atmosphere at the Amex I have experienced. The sheer bile and abuse that was raining down from the stands on the ref was something to behold.

Fantastic.

Wise words. Abuse rained down on him from all and sundry according to their disposition, from blind idiot, through absolute moron, bleeding b*stard, stupid tw*at to "I will kill your children" and - at the top of the tree - clueless cvnt.

Following the clubs social media today, who have been celebrating our up coming 150th league game at the Amex, have been posting various matches and asking what is 'Your favourite Amex League Game' note not memorable, but 'Your Favourite'

One of their suggestions was the 0-1 game against Burnley where we had Vincelot and Barnes sent off ?

Is there ANYONE in our fan base that would consider this one of their 'favourite games' at the AMEX?

Funnily enough when they first brought it up that was actually the first game that came into my head. That was a unique game so it is up there for me.

As I wasn’t fortunate enough to get to the Donny game, it would have to be Wigan. I doubt that will ever be topped.

One of my favourites was the Wolves game a couple of years ago when they went down. They were intent on having a party and it made for a great atmosphere.

Ha - I almost included that in my list but decided I was including too many games and it didn’t make the cut!

The second one would have been correct IF both players had been sent off. Zeroing in on Barnes alone was c*ntish.

Exactly. The Burnley player (at bare minimum) could've and should've walked too, twice. Once for his two footed lunge on Barnes. Lets face it, Barnes wouldn't have appeared to be attempting to stamp on him if it wasn't for the fact he had to jump straight up to avoid a potential leg breaking challenge, and a second for his reaction to Barnes in trying to strangle him.

Perhaps poisonous is the wrong description as that would best describe the game against Millwall in the last days of Hyypia in December 2014. For the Burnley game any of the following : United, Compelling, Steadfast, Resolute, Courageous, Never Say Die, Extraordinary, perhaps all of them and more.

That game sticks in my mind more than most. The atmosphere at the Amex was TOXIC that night, and the game should go down as an absolute watershed moment in modern Albion history. Was it Hyypia’s last Amex game? I can’t remember, but at that moment it was clear the writing was on the wall. And how fitting that our opponents should have been Millwall, just to throw in a bit of good, old fashioned football yobbery down the south end. Now knowing how far we have come since then, I look back on the game with a certain fondness, so perhaps I can now say that in retrospect it was one of my favourite games.

Although Vincelot was caught punching an opponent in the side. The Barnes one was contentious maybe.

Talking of Barnes, him being sent off for tripping up the referee was undoubtedly one of my favourite Amex MOMENTS... no idea what game it was, though.

In terms of magic moments at the Amex, I will always remember the game against Portsmouth at home, they were well on their way down, we desperately needed the 3 points, and with 30minutes to go at 0-0, Portsmouth probably looked favourites to score out of the two teams. That was until Vicente came on. Wow, I'm not sure I've ever seen a sub quite take control of a game in the way he did that day. 2 goals and some wonderful moments condensed into what was probably just 25mins on the pitch. I absolutely adored him!

Watershed moment indeed. I think Hyypia was in charge when we draw away at Wolves and then it was bye-bye. Nathan Jones took over with the late, late show against Reading and then the unforgettable "Ring of Fire" win at Fulham. We've never looked back!
