Do birds URINATE?

Mendoza

NSC's Most Stalked
Having witnessed an innocent civilian being shat on by a bird (seagull/pigeon type thing, not a west street chav in a short skirt) whilst he waited for the bus this morning, it occurred to me that I have never seen a bird urinate, or heard of anyone being pissed on by a bird (again a seagull/pigeon type thing, not bedroom watersports)

So my question to NSC this morning is, "can birds piss?"

Have you seen it happen? Or been hit by the offending liquid?

There is a Roman (dialect) proverb ... Quanno pisceno le galline ...

It translates as "When hens piss ...". The English equivalent is "When pigs fly ... "

In other words ... NO.

Well they do, sort of. It's just that their shit and piss ends up leaving the body at the same time. It stands to reason that ALL animals need to piss in some form or other, seeing as piss (unlike shit) is the true excretia that defines a living animal.

If you are going to redefine what piss looks like (ie excretions that are indistinguishable from shit), you're already on dodgy ground. You might just as well say that the excretions of a rubber tree are much the same ... and that makes a rubber tree some sort of living animal.

Apart from being wrong, this will simply confuse the vegetarian community.
