Now we have to endure about a month of discussion across the BBC with the one topic...."Can Andy win Wimbledon this year ? " ....poor old John Mac faced with the same question day after day....." But, seriously, can he win it ? ".......yawn,

He already has to be fair plus a U.S Open.
He's also has been in quite a few grand slam finals and semi finals and won an Olympic gold medal, so not a bad record.

Apart from Novak, he has to be one of the favourites to win Wimbledon again.

Indeed he is, but, does the BBC have to ask the question on a daily basis ? Would be lovely for the BBC to add the caveat, " Other Tennis players are competing in the tournament "

Edit; I'm fairly certain that the commentators have actually forgotten that Wawrinka already has a Grand Slam (albeit not French) title. They're talking like he's a first time winner of a big tournament.

True but he beat an injured Nadal. Today he BOSSED Djokovic, very impressive.

Yeah, Djokovic was still playing some great shots but Stan was really on it today, not sure anyone could have taken him playing like that.
