Not sure if I’d prefer him or Brewster - prob Brewster but we’ll see...

Not like we’ve been heavily linked yet.

Of all the players mentioned as potential signings he would have been my first choice.

I get why he's never scored more than single figures for Liverpool, but he's never done it for any side he's played for.

I'm not saying he's a bad player but we need a striker who can score 10 goals, particularly if Maupay gets injured.

If we get another ten goal striker along side our current ten goal striker we would safely avoid the bottom three.

If only football was that simple!

Hows abouts this then!

Origi + Balogun.

Hadn’t even bothered to read that one. Not a clue, not played first team. Could be a Lamptey or a Chris Holdroyd... Pls tell me it’s Holdroyd - what a player he was!

£14m would be a absolute steel, compare that to Wilson £20m, Watkins £33m,

Two possibilities re the £14m figure

1 = it's bollocks

2 = It's accounting for an extraordinary wage demand (even by the standards we've been seeing with striker transfers this summer). If this is true Liverpool are prepared to take a lower sum than he is worth to get a highly paid squad player off the books

I’m just being silly but both are probably available and we’ve been linked with the pair.

I want Big Divock and HULK. Hulky would have buried that Maupay header last night... and the keeper and the ****ing net and most of the stand behind.

That’s what we’re missing up top, someone who puts the fear of God Almighty into defenders.

We’re too ****ing penitent.

Origi would be £14m because he’s well into the final year of his contract.
He’s their 4th choice striker and has been there a while hence the £45k per week (when did that become not a lot of money BTW?)

He’d be a huge upgrade on what we have here, massive yes from me.

I work with a scouser, he reckons they are raising funds by offloading squad players for a massive signing, Mbappe according to him.

Does he rate Origi?

Balogun is an academy player with no league experience, he's not getting near a PL first team this season. At best he'd be a loan to league 1 or championship.

Some would say Lamptey was in almost the same position in January (ignoring the one substitute appearance).

Nketiah and Nelson are the ones ahead of Folarin, and in turn, they have the likes of Aubameyang & Lacazette well ahead of them. He might well be good enough for the first team this season.
