Tony Meolas Loan Spell
Slut Faced Whores
My good friend at work who is a palace fan has said that he does have one big chip on his shoulder and he is a bit gobby. Now I can see why he said it.
From what I have seen of Zaha (not a huge amount, admittedly), I don't think he is the most promising young winger in this league. I genuinely think the lad Sako from Wolves is better.
I agree with you there, he hasn't been tested at a higher level and he might well flop, Palace fans over-praising him means nothing. In other words he could turn out to be just a souped-up Jeff Minton ...I think the hype over him has gotten completely out of control now, but then its no surprise when you read and hear the Palace fans almost fainting in rapture at his every stepover.
He looks like a very good young player with lots of potential, but he's only ever played in the second division, and already he's being touted around as the new Messi. Its utterly insane.
He is off in January as parish will be keen to maximise the hype which will inflate his valuation
Serious question but are any palace fans concerned about this hype and situation? Money aside clearly his head is going to be severely turned and a January move could derail your season
Darren Lewis speaking on Sky Sports -"Zaha is not the type of player to go down easy... He has the toughness like Maradona and balance like George Best"
Didn't he only say that after becoming your manager (which would make it meaningless)?Ian Holloway, recently managing Tom Ince, said that Zaha was the most talented player he'd ever seen.
Which is why the CP PR team are on overdrive. All this speculation does is drive up his price.
We? Are you his dad, mentor or manager? Don't you think your being a little patronising? As long as he can keep his head, which we think he can

Are Palace fans concerned? No.
He won't leave in January. We'd be stupid to sell him because it could cost us promotion worth roughly £90m rather than the £20m we'd get for him, and the teams that pay the money required to sign him don't normally buy players in January. All this speculation does is drive up his price. As long as he can keep his head, which we think he can, it won't be anything but positive.
It's also nice seeing Palace on the back page of every paper in the country
All this hype just makes it even more certain that he will be gone in January. I read that article as a come and get me with given the number of references he makes to the Premier league. Mixing with players in the England squad who are obviously not as good as him and probably earning 10 times will seriously piss him off given his opinion of himself
No.
"He is so unique," Holloway told the Daily Mirror. "He is an untouched, pure talent. I've never worked with anyone like him - he just wants to get the ball and beat people, however many there are, he can do it.
"Before I got to Palace, I was hearing a lot about this boy and I thought, 'Is he better than anybody else?'
"Now I have seen him. Good gracious me, it is quite unbelievable what he can do, and hopefully, a lot of fans around the country will see him still progress because it is so pure.
"You just want to give him the ball. I find myself willing my other players to give it to him because the more he has it, the better my team does.
"Hopefully, if he does play on Wednesday, people will see that and I believe he can do it at the very, very top level.
"If he gets the ball, whoever is in front of him, wherever they are from or whoever they represent, be it a Championship player, a Premier League defender or an international player, I believe Wilfried can beat them.
"The more I see him, the more I am convinced that is the case.
"I think people will see that his ability to actually beat someone is as good as anybody, anywhere else I have seen.
"I think it is totally and utterly refreshing and if he gets the chance to do it for the full England team on Wednesday, then I think you lot will be talking even more about him because I am sure he can beat those Swedes. To beat people is a wonderful thing to see.

Are you completely thick?No.

But be honest your new manager is not going to turn up and say he's not as good as the hype he's only an average player is he?
He said yesterday that he wants to play in the Premier League with Palace next season. Whether he leaves in Jan isn't up to him, even if he did want to leave, which there is no evidence for.
