For universal studios book a night at the Hard Rock Cafe. From memory it was £200 for 5 of us and for this you not only get a great night there but you get early entry for the park ( you have to pay for entry to the park separately) for both days and front of line passes so no queuing all for £40 each.

Just got back and we stayed on sight at Disney as with the number of parks it was hard 2 fit everything in even with the flexibility of a 14 day ticket! Seaworld we blitzed in one day no problem but Universal needed 2 full days (pretty much one for each park) and that was with express passes for the rides! Good trick here is that for 4 people for two days it would have cost a whopping 680 dollars (not including entry!!) BUT if u book a night at the on site at the 4 star loew hotel, u get them thrown in for free for both the check in and check out days AND the park opens an hour early for guests. And the cost of one night for a family of 4 in a luxery Hotel? 300 bucks.

Even spotted an Albion shirt at the magic Kingdom...

Been several times and used various online ticket providers as already shown in the thread. Service always good including recorded delivery etc. Not an awful lot you can do to reduce the costs as they have basically got you by the short and curlies. If you want the flexibility of doing parks when you want then the two week pass covering everything is the only real option. Agree the parking is a rip-off but the hotel stays are a good option if you are only doing a certain park once - me and my lad are roller coaster nuts though so we went multiple times to Islands of Adventure and Seaworld, including sometimes just popping in for a couple of hours on the way back from elsewhere. If you get time, Knots Berry Farm is also worth a visit, some good rides and not quite as busy (separate ticket though). Whichever park you go in, head for your favourite must-do rides first, or those furthest from the entrance - most people seem to jump on the first thing they come across. This works particularly well at Seaworld with Kraken and Atlantis at the bottom of the park.

Use Premium parking like most USA people do, you are nearer the park entrance so burn less calories and remain fatter.
