Disapointing draw

I think its a fantastic draw. Win, lose or draw, there'll be 5000 Albion fans singing and shouting for 90 minutes and I'm gonna be one of them (if I can get a ticket).

yep come on, the worst possible scenario could have been someone like colchester. no glamour, not big stadium, and a game we're still more likely to lose than win. but instead we've got the hammers with zamora, tevez, trevor brooking, upton park, 5000 albion fans. how could you possibly be down about that.... i think like against spurs we'll give a great account of ourselves and have a bloody good day out mate, and who knows stranger things have happened, we may win.... like last time we played them!

Not sure about anyone else but i'm very disapointed with the Fa cup drwa - unwinnable game, only played them a few seasons back so hard to consider it a BIG premier club to draw. make a bit of cash but not a great deal as not exactly a big ground.

I for one am disapointed.

Only one thing I disagree with on this post - the words.

Really, you make about 3/4 statements, each of which is utterly preposterous. I could take the time to discuss why you're wrong on so many levels, but is it really worth it, when I can just post the following smilie?

Jesus, and to think people say I moan too much! How the HELL can you be dissapointed with a Premiership club in LONDON away!?!? We're not usually even in this round of the competition!

Quite right! We haven't been in this round of the competition for 5 years according to the Sports Argus, The League Paper and Meridian TV's report tonight.

Thought there was some excuse for the first two as they have very early deadlines on Saturday evening, but Meridian still spouting crap on Monday?!!! :lolol:

I think we should just be greatful that we have had two easy draws to get to this stage of the competition in the first place, otherwise we may not even be where we are at all

You can see the negative in any situation, or you can accept you're not going to win the lottery every week and enjoy life.

West Ham away is a great draw when we could just have likely got an away draw against some no-mark, northern 4th division team (that's League 2, kids!).

Should be a great day! :drink: :drink:

GG as usual nice thread to generate some self seeking attention .. No doubt you wont be going as its aliitle bit too far out of Yorkshire for you and the prospect of 5000 fans all singing blows away your pathetic moans about lack of atmosphere at Withdean..I for one am absolutely gutted that i am over in the Uk until jan 1st and have to return to far east before the game .. m praying we get through and get a decent draw becuase i would love to see round 4

I'd have liked Tamworth at home - let's get a bit further in the competition.

What would be the point? To get a game closer to a final that we'd still have to eventually get past at least two big clubs to glimpse? Plus, when we get bigger clubs in later rounds, they are going to start getting a lot more ambitious.

Nope, W.Ham now will do nicely - loads of incentive for the players, and a little sample of the big time for a few young players who can only benefit from it.
I think it'll also benefit us for the league, once our lads get a reminder of what it's all about - a little escape from the mundane.

The race is the prize sometimes, and like the line in Forest Gump - "life is like a box of chocolates...."

Spending a great deal of time in Arsessex I personally am delighted with the draw, seeing as round here they are all Gawd Blimey trarsers, Gertcha, up the apples and pears, Cockerneees covered in West Ham tats and bling.

My local pub is covered in Hammers flags and god knows what else, and I get no end of stick for following a "gay" club, I would love it if we gave them a right shock!!
