I've taken out some co-workers and clients in town, midweek, over the last three months on three occasions. We've been to Giggling Squid, Indian Summer and Casa Don Carlos. All very good, two are very Brighton (GS is a chain), reasonably priced and decent atmosphere for mid week. Of the three Indian Summer is the stand out.

Always enjoyed eating at Constantinople near Norfolk Sq. Family run Turkish place. Not posh but not expensive even though prices have risen a little recently.

Thanks you for all your suggestions, Giggling squid was finally selected about 6.30 and Mrs Wz said don't bother phoning/booking early Tuesday evening let's just go. So Giggling squid was full  and having parked, we walked along to Latinoamerica which was alright, but nothing to write home about.

Copper Clam, Fanoos Grill, and Constantinople have all been added to the 'todo' list thank you (and we will book)

I took a date to a French restaurant. She had frogs legs and a chicken breast…..but a smashing personality.
