I’ve met Dena and she is a smashing girl. My son raced in a 60m before her at a low key meet at Windsor/Eton/Slough last year. She’s happy to race anywhere during the winter as she prepares. Just hope she can go one better in the 200
Jon Ridgeon, IAAF CEO on the BBC now trying to justify the crowds. The bollocks includes....
- Well over 50% of tickets have been sold (that's after they've reduced the capacity of the stadium by 50% or so)
- People have to go to work the next day, so they go home before the finals which are on late due to TV audiences
- There's some sort of blockade on stopping people getting there
Gabby Logan giving him quite a hard time in fairness.

I’m more inclined to view him as an honest but hapless figurehead, unable to stop a juggernaut of corruption and doping and fight his way of the mire of corporate and national self interest of powerful stakeholders rather than a Blatter / Platini blatantly on the take type
I’ll defend the bloke no further. Time for someone else to have a turn. As with all sports, the best administrator would probably be someone who has never contemplated becoming an administrator.

I do hope you said her name correctly
