Depends on whether he wants a challenge or not, Keeping Burnley up is a MASSIVE challenge, managing to stay ahead of your only rivals in Scotland not so imho. Unfortunately as Gordon Strachan found out unless you are playing breathtaking attacking football, winning the league 3 years out of 4 is not enough for some Celtic fans.

Not the case at all.

I think winning 3/4 is fine for any Celtic fan, although seeing Rangers win a title is never acceptable. However, failing to take a winning side forward, having an abysmal season in Europe and throwing away the SPL by being unable to score against supposedly lesser teams - is enough to make supporters concerned about next year.

As for the thread title - I think Moyes could be tempted ahead of Coyle, but if Coyle has any sense, he'd go. Burnley will be spectacularly relegated next year, and as a manager he would never really bounce back from it (See Davies, Boothroyd).

That makes sense :)

God forbid anyone born outside England would make an appearance for the national team - especially in cricket/rugby!

No matter how big a club Celtic is I can't believe a manager would turn down the chance of managing in the Premiership. Burnley will probably be relegated next year but there's no reason why they couldn't have a decent season which goes down to the last few games, in which case he won't be sacked. Doubt he will be sacked however bad Burnley do, Derby last season demonstrated that sacking a popular manager who had a difficult start is not going to suddenly turn things around. Anyway, there's not reason why Burnley couldn't do what Stoke did this season, or even Hull - although I would imagine any club would be hoping to pick up more than 8 points after November.
